Every subscription starts with a 14-day free trial — nothing is charged until it ends, and you can cancel inside it. Prices in USD. VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where it applies, and is handled by our merchant of record — you'll get a proper invoice. Use the same email address as your Kormix account so your plan lands on the right one.
Every plan includes two-way lossless audio, hardware-accelerated video, talkback, screen sharing, per-stream recording and the browser console. The audio is identical on all of them — the tiers differ in how many people, how many streams, and how long.

Someone in the session running the Kormix desktop app — sending audio, receiving it, or both. They see the video and hear the talkback. This is the number the plans cap.
Someone who opens your session link in a browser. No install, no account. They hear the lossless mix and can turn their own camera and mic on. Free, always.
One audio feed published into the session — a Send plugin on a channel, or the app itself. Each stream is stereo, so 8 streams is 16 channels. Plugin instances that aren't sending cost nothing and aren't counted.
No. Only whoever starts it. A vocalist who joins other people's sessions never needs one, and a browser guest doesn't even need to install anything.
Kormix tells you which limit you hit and what lifts it, before the session starts wherever it can. Nothing is ever cut off mid-session.
Every subscription — Basic, Studio and the founding seat — starts with 14 days free. You enter a card so it can roll straight into the subscription, and nothing is charged until day 15. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
Any time, from the customer portal. You keep what you paid for until the end of the period you've already paid, then drop to Free — not to nothing.
Four hours on a paid plan, 45 minutes on Free. A session that ends can be started again in seconds with the same settings, and you get a warning ten minutes before. The limit exists so a room nobody is using isn't holding a machine open all night.
Our merchant of record is the seller of record: they add the right tax for your country, remit it, and send you a compliant invoice. We never see your card.
Yes, up or down, from the customer portal. Changes are prorated by the payment provider.
Yes. Everyone who buys is grandfathered — your price never rises. That is also why we're comfortable changing the list price later if the evidence says we should.
No. Lossless is lossless on every tier, including Free, and encryption is never a paid feature. Per-stream recording is on every tier too. What the tiers change is how many people, how many streams, and how long.
